The card is personal and non-transferable. Cardholders can write their names and the date they start to use the card in the appropriate space on the back.
Carry the Córdoba Card and Córdoba Card Guide with you at all times as you might need it for any Museum, Palace, Monument or member establishment of the project.
The card is activated from the moment it is first inserted in the electronic validation terminals belonging to the suppliers of services associated with the Córdoba Card programme.
The card will be valid for the following:
- Córdoba Card Pack 1: 1 year after activated.
- Córdoba Card Pack 2 : 1 year after activated.
- Córdoba Card Pack 3 : 1 year after activated.
- Córdoba Card Pack 4 : 1 year after activated.
- Córdoba Card Pack 5 : 1 year after activated.
- Córdoba Card Pack 6 : 1 year after activated.
- Córdoba Card Cultural: valid for a period of 168 hours from the moment it is activated.
The card gives holders the right to visit the on going collection of museums and monuments once. The temporary exhibitions are not always included in the price. Check that they are not closed for some reason on the day you wish to visit them, it is also advisable to check times during the summer season (21 June to 21 September).
In order to take advantage of discounts in shops and other outlets, cardholders should take into account that:
- Discounts are applicable regardless of the method of payment (cash, credit card or traveller’s cheques) but they cannot be accumulated with other offers. In the case of sales or valid special discounts, shops are not obliged to make an extra discount.
- In order to obtain the discount, cardholders should present the card before paying, and if necessary the coupon that appears on the page of the Guide corresponding to the member establishment. If you are in a restaurant, you should request the discount when you ask for the bill. Although it is advisable to book a table in restaurants.
- If the Córdoba Card cardholder
does not belong to the EU, VAT can be
reclaimed from the price of purchases.
